What did I do on spring break?

This week’s question: Ariel asks “Moiré, did you go on spring break? I did, and I had a great time on a cruise!”
Moiré’s answer: Ariel, Ariel, Ariel – thank you for the question. I’m exceedingly pleased that you managed to come back alive from your cruise experience. I don’t have ‘sea legs’ at all. I once had to wade a mud puddle and thought I’d surely drown! These pretty paws shall remain on dry land I assure you.
It would be a glorious thing to be able to take a spring break, but the ‘powers that be’ (that ridiculously over zealous COO, Justin) at MPA have decided no breaks for this beautifully sophisticated feline specimen. It is sad that I must work practically ’round the clock in order to keep my position here. Being the ‘Kitty in Charge’ (KIC) is a daunting task.
Things tend to fall apart when I’m out for even a day. An example would be when I went off to the spa. I thought, “Moiré, you handsome devil, you deserve a day of pampering and pleasure,” yet when I returned, utter chaos had broken out! My food bowl was empty and my water bowl had mysteriously changed from red plastic to stainless steel. How upsetting!?! It took me days to find peace again and return to my normal routine.
So you see, Ariel, there will be no spring break for Moiré. The consequences would be far too devastating! Until next time, my faithful and attentive readers, enjoy every minute of free time you have by spending it with your loving pet!
