Justin: Welcome to MPA’s tech table. I’m Justin.

Diana: And I’m Diana.

Justin: And we’re you’re hosts. We’ll be serving up a heaping spoonful of all things tech.

Diana: We promise, it’ll be easy to digest. We’ll it is Friday and I’m dancing and singing.

Justin: Yeah, you love Friday, for sure and I like Friday too. It’s a long day for me though because I got a culmination of the work weeks. All these things have to happen before I can go home.

Diana: Yes.

Justin: So, I’m always happy when Friday at 7pm comes around, it’s usually the beginning of the week.

Diana: But, I’m always excited in the morning because I know it’s going to come to an end.

Justin: I guess so, wow he must have a rough life.

Diana: [laughs]

Justin: Sounds pretty rough Diana.

Diana: Oh, I just like the weekend.

Justin: So, today you went around the office, you went around our office asking everyone there favorite bands. Cause we talk about Friday favs and if you’re a twitter user use the hash-tag FF for Friday faves. Hashtag FF.

Diana: And you know most everybody in the world enjoys music, but I know our team at MPA really enjoys music.

Justin: They do, so you went around asking them what they’re favorite bands of all time so you asked Donnie at the front desk.

Diana: Yes

Justin: Who really likes

Diana: Florence and the Machine

Justin: Right but he has a lot of favorites he says.

Diana: He does, I think it might just be like the day of the week.

Justin: Probably so, likewise John says it depends on his mood.

Diana: Yes.

Justin: Ya know for what his favorite band is so he said some old-school ACDC.

Diana: [Laugh] That was his mood at the moment evidently. Yeah.

Justin: And then Jodie, this is an interesting choice. I did not see this coming.

Diana: Really.

Justin: Dave Mathews Band.

Diana: Oh yes, she loves Dave Mathews Band, she talks about them a lot to me.

Justin: Oh really, that’s interesting

Diana: Yeah.

Justin: And then Chris, and I knew this because I’ve known Chris for years and he’s always been a Pink Floyd fan.

Diana: Yeah, he’s even instilled this in his kids.

Justin: Yeah, exactly, he has.

Diana: And then David, you know I think I knew this too but David really enjoys Nickelback and Theory of Dead Man. So we’ve got some varied tastes there.

Justin: Right, so what about you Diana, what’s your favorite band of all time.

Diana: You know.

Justin: I know band, I mean it’s not… Favorite band of all time.

Diana: I really like Smashing Pumpkins. [Laugh]

Justin: Yes, you’ve always been a Smashing Pumpkins fan. That’s true.

Diana: That’s probably very surprising to people out there who thought they knew me well.

Justin: Sure.

Diana: But surprise.

Justin: Surprise.

Diana: But, I love grunge music from the nineties so.

Justin: I have no words but people ask me, what’s your favorite band Justin and I’m like I don’t like bands typically bands don’t, you have to be really amazing and varied. You can’t just do the same thing. Now, I do and this will surprise people who know me too, I really always liked Metallica. You know I always took it though, I take everything with a grain of salt like, I’m like it’s entertainment. Like, I’m not one of those people that believes that you sit in a dark room and listen to Metallica and it like somehow alters your mind. No. I mean I don’t really do that and I don’t believe in that. I believe you take everything with a grain of salt.and you know, keep your focus and honestly my other favorite band and I was thinking about this earlier is probably Saylah. So I mean how variety is that.

Diana: Very variety.

Justin: I mean, that’s a huge, huge range.

Diana: But, and I guess I’d go Jars of Clay if we’re talking Christian contemporary music.

Justin: Yeah, you’ve always liked Jars, I’m not a Newsboys fan, not a Jars of Clay fan. I was never a fan.

Diana: I saw both of them.

Justin: Yeah, I was never a fan of any of those, but I do I mean Saylah just they really moved me in concert which I thought was, is just really special so yeah, there you go. It’s interesting so feel free to send us an E-mail and let us know about what your favorite band is.
