Justin: Welcome to MPA’s Tech table. I’m Justin.

Diana: And I’m Diana

Justin: And we’re your hosts. We’ll be serving up heaping spoonful of all things Tech.

Diana: We promise it’ll be easy to digest. Hey

Justin: It’s Friday.

Diana: My favorite day.

Justin: Yes, we made it to Friday.

Diana: It’s like I want to sing and dance.

Justin: And this is a Friday before a three day weekend so that’s a big deal.

Diana: True, memorial day is coming up.

Justin: Absolutely, so you in your typical fashion went around the office asking Friday favorites.

Diana: My typical fashion, yes.

Justin: That’s right, so we’re going to talk about favorite websites.

Diana: Well, everyone has favorite websites and they change intermittently.

Justin: Oh, it’s true. Mine used to change a lot more before Facebook came along.

Diana: Would you say Facebook is your favorite.

Justin: It is. I just, it’s like open you know all the time and even on your phone, you have the app and it’s like right there, you just go to it you know, it’s just always open.

Diana: And its just so handy to just see what people are up to you know.

Justin: Ya, even though I’m not sure why. You know half the people I see on there I’m like I don’t even know why your on my friends list. You know, I mean really there are a few people.

Diana: Oh

Justin: But the thing is, the people that I really want to see what they’re doing. Half of them I don’t see.

Diana: It’s true.

Justin: I’m confused about Facebook. You need to do a Facebook segment sometime where we can talk about Facebook.

Diana: Do some setting discussion.

Justin: Yeah, cause you always tell me, it’s all in your settings. Just fix it and I don’t have any idea where settings even are on Facebook.

Diana: Oh, that is a problem.

Justin: But Facebook still remains my favorite cause I do like to see what people are doing, what people are up to. Even some of these people I haven’t talked to or seen in person forever. So it’s kind of interesting.

Diana: You kind of get to see their pictures. You know.

Justin: It is. Absolutely, so Facebook and Google are my favorite websites.

Diana: Ah, well Jodie.

Justin: Our designer.

Diana: Yes, this does not surprise me because she just became a new home owner. Congratulations to Jodie and her family.

Justin: Yes she did. Congratulations to Jodie.

Diana: She is really, really loving Pinterest right now.

Justin: Really likes Pinterest.

Diana: And then another one that I’m not really familiar with but I think it has to do with home ownership and decorating things. houzz.

Justin: Sounds like houzz.

Diana: I think so, I’ve never looked at it myself.

Justin: Alright and then Chris had feedly.com

Diana: Ahah yes, because he considers himself a geek.

Justin: He does even though I don’t think he acts like a geek at all but I suppose maybe in the big world picture.

Diana: Well.

Justin: Probably almost everyone that works in our office is kind of geeky but.

Diana: Yeah, that’s true we’re all geeky in our own way.

Justin: There you go, feedly.com. What is that.

Diana: Lots of information about everything.

Justin: Very good. John, you know I used to have a big thing for Ebay. I used to spend a lot of time on Ebay, I always want to buy stuff and I’m really competitive too so then I bid at the end and I would be like, I just spend sixty five dollars on a rusty hinge. That’s not really true.

Diana: [Laugh] A rusty hinge.

Justin: That’s not really true but I mean that’s what I felt like when I got done. I was so bent on getting the item, you know I’d just bid and bid and bid. And then they came up with buy it now. So then I’m just like ahah I got it before you anyway, I know. So John likes looking at dirt bike and four-wheeler parts on Ebay and that’s a lot of fun.

Diana: Now Donnie responded with a hmm, I really enjoy Hulu, but if I want to shop I use a wish app or go to DX.com for random gizmos.

Justin: Sounds like Donnie.

Diana: And Donnie’s the king of that so.

Justin: There you go, alright and then Nathan in our tech department slashdot.org.

Diana: I don’t know what it is.

Justin: I don’t know either.

Diana: It’s a tech thing.

Justin: It must be. And then you of course.

Diana: Well, I really like Picmonkey right now. I talked about that recently.

Justin: Yeah, You’re all about that Picmonkey. Absolutely..

Diana: Picmonkey.com, photo editing.

Justin: There you go, photo editing, absolutely. Well enjoy your favorite websites over this long weekend.

Diana: Check out some of those and maybe you’ll get a new favorite.

Justin: There you go, Until next time.

Diana: Take care
