Justin: Welcome to MPA’s Tech Table. I’m Justin.
Diana: And I’m Diana.
Justin: And we’re your hosts. We’ll be serving up a heaping spoonful of all things tech.
Diana: We promise it’ll be easy to digest.
Justin: It’s Friday.
Diana: Yeah, Friday.
Justin: Friday, Friday!
Diana: We need to make up our own little song for Friday.
Justin: We do need our own song for Friday.
Diana: Because we just kind of chant it, and I don’t know if it’s very entertaining for the listeners.
Justin: They’re probably like, yeah, it’s Friday, we know. So, we always talk about favorites, and for the next few Fridays, we’re going to talk about a member of the team at MPA specifically. We’re going to single someone out.
Diana: In a good way.
Justin: And you’re going to get to know them.
Diana: I know, I love it. We love our team members.
Justin: We do.
Diana: We actually really enjoy spending time with each other. We go out on the weekends together, have each other over for dinner, you know, hang out outside of work.
Justin: Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun. Where was I?
Diana: We’ll invite you next time.
Justin: Just kidding, we’re a family. We’re like a family at the office.
Diana: Yes.
Justin: So, today we’re going to talk about Jodie. Jodie is our Designer and she’s also the Content Gatherer, so whatever.
Diana: Yes, it’s very important. You have to have content.
Justin: Yes, she has a huge artistic personality, which is great.
Diana: So, Jodie, good friend of mine, and as Justin mentioned, Designer, basically what we did was we gave her a list of things.
Justin: Right, of all these things.
Diana: And so I asked her, and I have a thing about sports, I asked her about her favorite sporting event to watch, and she said baseball.
Justin: Yes, I would agree.
Diana: Yeah, you like baseball, too.
Justin: I love baseball.
Diana: But this is about Jodie today.
Justin: Oh, sorry. I’ll give my opinion on each one of these, like that’s good or oh, that’s not.
Diana: So we’ve got Justin covered. Great. And then, you know, sometimes people like to play versus watch sports or watch versus play. Some people like to do both. So, I asked her what’s her favorite sport to play and she said softball. So, she likes to watch baseball but play softball.
Justin: Cool. Her favorite tech thing or non-tech thing to keep you organized is an online calendar. So, she has a tech thing, an online calendar.
Diana: I love my online calendar, too.
Justin: Absolutely.
Diana: Oh, it’s about Jodie!
Justin: There you go. And then, we asked what toy she played with as a kid that she’d love to own again.
Diana: This is a fun one.
Justin: This is cute. Polly Pocket.
Diana: Did you ever have one?
Justin: No, because no. Why would I have a Polly Pocket?
Diana: I don’t know.
Justin: They were cute, though. And I remember the little jingle, Polly Pocket. That’s what I got from it. All right.
Diana: And she specifies the original one. She likes the original Polly Pocket.
Justin: So, she’s looking for a vintage Polly Pocket if anyone has one.
Diana: Yeah, wants to give her one.
Justin: All right, and favorite state you’ve ever visited and why.
Diana: So, she says Minnesota because she has years and years of wonderful memories, and more to come I’m sure.
Justin: Minnesota. Yeah, I like it, too.
Diana: She must have family there. Family and friends in Minnesota.
Justin: All right. The state place you’d like to visit but never have.
Diana: Aha. She says Forks, Washington here.
Justin: There’s a reason for this. I’m sensing it. What is it?
Diana: You know, what I know about Forks, Washington is that it’s a real place, I believe, and the Twilight books are based there.
Justin: That’s what I figured. Yep, it’s a Twilight thing. Right, and then for magazine, she says Better Homes and Gardens for her favorite magazine, which of course, that’s an Iowa product.
Diana: Yes, that’s true.
Justin: Very cool, out of Des Moines.
Diana: Animated movie, she likes Shrek.
Justin: Shrek is great. Shrek is great.
Diana: And all of them, she said all of them. She couldn’t even pick one.
Justin: Really? I don’t like that one with Justin Timberlake in it.
Diana: Oh, yeah.
Justin: That didn’t go so well.
Diana: It was so nice to learn more about Jodie.
Justin: Absolutely. She’s a great member of our team.
Diana: She is.
Justin: So, enjoy your weekend. Until next time.
