Justin: Welcome to MPA’s Tech Table. I’m Justin.

Diana: And I’m Diana.

Justin: And we’re your hosts. We’ll be serving up a heaping spoonful of all things tech.

Diana: We promise it’ll be easy to digest. Well, it is Friday.

Justin: It is Friday, and we’re going to talk about our faves. We always have Friday Faves, which if you’re checking things out on Twitter, that would be #ff for Friday Faves.

Diana: Yes. I always think that means french fry.

Justin: That sounds good, too. I’ll take that.

Diana: I was a waitress for several years, and that’s how I always abbreviated french fries if somebody ordered them.

Justin: There you go. Well, that sounds right to me.

Diana: Which is one of my favorite things. I love french fries!

Justin: There you go. There you go. So today, as always, you go around the office and you collect information. You’re giving me hand gestures. You think I just cut you off! Didn’t you?

Diana: Well, you just went right past that one.

Justin: I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Would you like to say something?

Diana: No, no, I’m good.

Justin: I’m sorry. My apologies if I ever cut you off. Just hit me next time instead of making hand gestures.

Diana: Oh!

Justin: Luckily, those hand gestures were appropriate.

Diana: Of course.

Justin: Oh, don’t “of course” me! Just kidding. All right, so Friday Faves. You go around the office and harass, I mean, ask the staff questions about their favorite things.

Diana: We’re on a roll today! Yes, I do.

Justin: So, what do you have? What, today?

Diana: So, this is a series, kind of, I guess you would say, called If You Had to Choose.

Justin: Oh, a series!

Diana: Yes.

Justin: Like, this is going to continue for a couple weeks?

Diana: Yeah, I’ve got a couple. Yeah.

Justin: So, we should have an official thing, like some official music.

Diana: If You Had to Choose, Choose, Choose.

Justin: That’s right.

Diana: Yes, okay. I’m trying to do effects with my voice.

Justin: That was great.

Diana: So, basically what I did was give a this or that.

Justin: Sure.

Diana: And I had a couple different ones with our staff this week. So, we’re going to start with Donnie.

Justin: Okay.

Diana: And I said, “Donnie, if you had to choose, would you pick a car or a truck?” And he said car. Well, that’s what he drives.

Justin: There you go. Absolutely.

Diana: I guess that makes sense. And then I said, “Donnie, hot or cold weather?” He said cold.

Justin: Yeah, Donnie likes cold weather. I know that. He lost a bunch of weight. He will not like the cold.

Diana: It’s true.

Justin: He will be cold next year, with all the weight he’s lost. Congrats to him, by the way. But he will not enjoy the cold as much.

Diana: Yeah, he has lost a lot. And then finally, I asked, “Spicy or sweet food?”

Justin: Ooh!

Diana: I would almost think he’d say sweet. But he said spicy.

Justin: All right, so then John, the technician.

Diana: If You Had to Choose.

Justin: Yes. Car or truck? He loves his pickup, you know, and he also has a Camaro, though, that he likes.

Diana: Oh. So, he can’t choose.

Justin: No, he can’t choose, apparently.

Diana: He can’t play by the rules.

Justin: Oh! No, he can’t. And then, hot or cold? And John says, “Hate being too hot and hate being too cold.”

Diana: My goodness.

Justin: John is kind of indecisive, it appears, here.

Diana: He’s just not giving us a straight answer.

Justin: And then, on the next one, too. He says, “Love both spicy and sweet food.” So, John was just being indecisive.

Diana: My goodness, John.

Justin: That’s not working. How about Jodie?

Diana: If You Had to Choose.

Justin: She’s a designer. She’s an artsy, artsy kind of gal.

Diana: So, she can choose.

Justin: She can choose. So, she says car for car or truck. She wants a car. There you go.

Diana: Even though I think she’d pick SUV.

Justin: Yeah, probably SUV. There you go. Hot or cold weather?

Diana: She went with the hot.

Justin: Yeah, I can see that. She seems like she’d like that time of year. Spicy or sweet food? Of course, she said sweet.

Diana: Sweet. Sweet.

Justin: Absolutely. And then we asked Chris. Car or truck? He said car. Hot or cold weather? Hot. And spicy or sweet food? Spicy.

Diana: He likes the spicy.

Justin: Which I knew that about him. So, if you asked me, I would choose both car and truck. I want them both. Hot or cold weather? I live in Iowa, so I like both. And spicy or sweet food? I like sour.

Diana: Oh, gee.

Justin: Difficult, as always.

Justin: Well, enjoy your weekend and think about what you would choose. And Diana may ask you sometime.

Diana: I might.

Justin: Until next time…

Diana: Take care.
