Special friend??

This week’s question: The following question was left anonymously at the MPA Grand Re-Opening…. “Moire, do you ever get lonesome and wish you had a special friend?”
Moire’s answer: Anonymous, I feel that your question might be slightly loaded. By using the word ‘special’ are you inferring that I need companionship of the female kind? I’m not sure that I have time for such things. I mean I’m extremely busy following the antics of the ever-eccentric, ever-geeky, ever-awesome MPA team. How would I find time?
You do bring up an interesting point, however. It is a possibility I get lonely at times. I hadn’t really considered that. The weekends are long and quiet. After the store closes on Saturday afternoon IMIGHT get that feeling in the pit of my stomach. That sort of yearning for love and attention. Wishing there was someone around to talk to.
Still, I am most certain that I don’t have the time for a special friend. Maybe I need a new hobby? Yes, I’m certain that I need a hobby that will keep me occupied on the weekends! Racing? Perhaps not. Wine critic? Been there, done that. Movie buff? Too much fluff these days. Hunting? Hmmm, maybe.
