Morning or evening kitty?

May 24, 2013

This week’s question: Maria asks “Are you a morning kitty or anevening kitty?”

Moire’s answer: Maria, thanks for the question! I am, indeed, a morningkitty. While I enjoy all times of day I find the morning brings renewed energy, hope, and vitality. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy my beauty rest as much as the next proper puss. One morning I was stirred from my peaceful slumber by a most annoying nibbling sound. With one eye open I surveyed my territory to identify the source and there, in the corner, under the storage boxes, a tiny field mouse was having his breakfast. He hasn’t been seen since. Don’t rouse me from my beauty rest!

As I was saying, Maria, morning is a time of renewal for me. I enjoy the adventure – the new mind – each new day brings. Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “In the morning a man walks with his whole body; in the evening, only with his legs.” Brilliant. It’s like he was reading my mind!

I invite everyone to get a good rest this evening and wake up early tomorrow — ready to TAKE ON THE DAY!

Fondest Regards,

MOIRÉ

Moire The Cat

I am a cat. A cat that has done more, seen more, and been more than most men will ever know. My pedigree is defined by modest lineage but I have risen to be one of the finest. One of the most humble, modest, handsome, intelligent, regal, charming, and cunning felines you may ever meet. I often have 'run-ins' with the MPA tight-wad, fun-hater COO, Justin over such things as spa visits and luxury grooming. Having a cat with the skills I possess is not in-expensive. I don't come with a manual and there is no 'figuring me out'. I write a weekly column called "ASK MOIRE" where my faithful readership gets advice and suggestions for a healthy, more balanced life by sending questions to this email address: MOIRE@ASKMPA.COM
