Don’t Be Scared today, this Friday the 13th. We have Friday Faves at the ready!

Okay, so usually we reserve these for the FIFTH Friday of the month, but we couldn’t resist featuring some faves right this very moment as we hide beneath our beds to avoid Jason. Anyway, here are some of our Team Members’ favorite things RIGHT NOW:
FAVORITE WEBSITE OR APP

Moiré:My favorite app is MyPetED! You can keep track of all the vital stats on your favorite feline… or canine, I suppose. It does cost $1.99, which makes it out of the price range of our tight wad, fun-hater COO – but I bought it myself to keep track of myself.

Jodie: Pixlr Express

Donnie: I have been using an app called “Wish” shopping for random things. Also, Snapchat!

FAVORITE READ

John: I am reading this email, obviously. I, however, don’t do much reading. (Editor’s note: We are not responsible for sassy answers by our team members.)

Moiré:Empty Mansions: The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American Fortune by Bill Dedman and Paul Clark Newell, Jr. It’s a fascinating read about the heiress of a fortune who lived the last years of her life in a hospital, by choice, rather than in any of the (several) opulent mansions she had inherited.

Diana: I am getting ready to start the fifth book in the Tales of the City series, Significant Others by Armistead Maupin.

FAVORITE BEATS

Nathan: An easier question would be “What is not in my mp3 player right now”,  I have a little of everything. (This from the guy who’s fave holiday album is Have a Nice Christmas: Holiday Hits of the ‘70s.)

Moiré: The Spice Girls Greatest Hits (don’t judge)

Chris: I’ve been rediscovering music from college. Most recently was Joshua Tree by U2.

John: Bad Company by Five Finger Death Punch is currently playing.

David: Been listening to country l lately – Florida Georgia Line.

Diana: Two words: Ice. Cream.

FAVORITE TIME-SAVING TRICKS

Jodie: Play Candy Crush when you’re taking a restroom break.

Moiré: Don’t overthink things! Just do something!
