Do I get stressed?

May 9, 2013

This week’s question: Trevor asks, “Moire, sometimes I get really stressed out.  Do you ever get stressed out and how do you handle it?”

Moire’s answer: Trevor, what a great question!  In our world today life moves at a hundred miles per hour for most people.  There is barely time to catch one’s breath let alone time toenjoy the view.  In my opinion this is why every human needs a companion.  A PET!  I, myself, do get stressed out sometimes but I find that my stress is not usually as great as the humans around me.  I admit when someone moves my litter pan or changes the kind of food I eat I get VERY upset, but I’ve seen the challenges of being human and it doesn’t look like something I’d want to try!

So, Trevor, I advise that if you are feeling stressed you should look into the therapeutic value of having a kitty of your own (or a dog, if you think that is REALLY a good idea).  Spending time at the end of a long day with a true friend almost always makes the troubles of the world go away.

Until next time, keep in mind that stress is only a state of mind.  Find peace in sharing loving moments with those around you!

Fondest Regards,

Moiré

Moire The Cat

I am a cat. A cat that has done more, seen more, and been more than most men will ever know. My pedigree is defined by modest lineage but I have risen to be one of the finest. One of the most humble, modest, handsome, intelligent, regal, charming, and cunning felines you may ever meet. I often have 'run-ins' with the MPA tight-wad, fun-hater COO, Justin over such things as spa visits and luxury grooming. Having a cat with the skills I possess is not in-expensive. I don't come with a manual and there is no 'figuring me out'. I write a weekly column called "ASK MOIRE" where my faithful readership gets advice and suggestions for a healthy, more balanced life by sending questions to this email address: MOIRE@ASKMPA.COM
