All of this Rain!!

This week’s question: Sheryl asks, “Moire, most people don’t like all this rain we’ve been getting. What do you think about it?”
Moire’s answer: My dearest Sheryl, I don’t like the rain. As the songstress once crooned “Rainy days and Mondays always get me down…”
I suppose if I were a duck or a brooding songwriter type I might love it. However, as it is, the rain makes me quite upset. I can’t venture out-of-doors. Rain water does terrible things to my well groomed facade. Even worse, when it rains people don’t come in to the office to see me nearly as often. I go hours without so much as a pat on the head. Dreadful! Even worse is my concern for those affected by the flood waters and terrible storms of late. I fervently hope that the weather turns soon, the sun comes out, and the suffering will cease. When people are displaced, so are their pets. Let’s remember that.
Until next week, when hopefully the sky is bright blue and you find me a happier kitty, I remind you to remember your friends and neighbors during these stormy times. A helping paw is a comforting paw.
